  • Cancellation Policy

    We understand that plans change, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. As the time reserved for an appointment is specially for you, missed appointments and late cancellations not only mean lost revenue for us, but a lost opportunity for someone who might have been able to use your appointment time.


    Confirming your appointment:

    An automated SMS and/or e-mail will be sent to you 48 hours before your appointment requiring you to confirm your appointment. 


    Cancelling your appointment:

    Should you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please complete the form on the online booking page.


    Canceling with less than 40-hours of notice or failure to show up for a scheduled appointment will result in the charge of a late-cancellation, no-show fee or rendering the appointment deposit non refundable, respectively. An invoice will be generated for any fees owed and must be paid within 24 hours of generation of the invoice if there is no credit card present on file or if your card declines. By breaching this policy, you agree to receive communications regarding your outstanding invoices from us (+1-844-770-7922) at the number and email you provided. Message rates may apply at your carrier. By reconciling any outstanding invoices, you will no longer receive this type of communication from us. Payment can be made by credit card online.


    Refusal of service:

    Should you refuse your scheduled service after showing up to your scheduled appointment time, a late-cancellation fee will apply and is expected to be paid for in person, immediately upon refusal of service. We reserve our time specially for you and we do expect our valuable time to be respected.


    Courtesy:

    We understand last minute changes to your schedule can happen so that is why we created this policy but as a courtesy to us, we ask that you notify us as soon as you know you are unable to make it to your appointment.

  • Credit Cards

    We require that a credit card be saved on your file before you can book an appointment with us. In the event of violation of our Cancellation Policy, a charge will be created on your card in accordance with our Penalty Fees (see below). Your credit card information remains secure at all times and we cannot see your card details.


    A credit card link is sent to you via email and SMS with instructions on saving your card. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to receive communications regarding your credit card from us (+1-844-770-7922) at the number and email you provided. Message rates may apply at your carrier. By cancelling your account with us, you will no longer receive this type of communication from us.


    All personal and credit card information stored on clients is strictly confidential and is not shared with any third parties. All personal information is held in a crypto secure system operated by our credit card processing company (Stripe) and we have no access nor liability in the storage of this sensitive information.

  • Deposits

    We may require deposits for certain appointments. We will inform you prior to accepting your appointment if a deposit is required. Any time a deposit is required, an invoice will be emailed to you and must be paid within 24 hours to guarantee the appointment.

    All deposits are 100% non-refundable payments except when changes to appointments are made in accordance with our Cancellation Policy above.

  • Penalty Fees (no-show, late-show, etc)

    All appointments are subject to "late-cancellation" fees (LCF), "no-show" fees (NSF) and "late-show" fees (LSF).


    Refer to our cancellation policy to determine when these fees apply.


    LCF and NSF is $30 x duration in hours of the no-show appointment. i.e. If a 3 hour appointment is marked as no-show, a $90 ($30 x 3 hours) fee applies.


    LSF is $15 x duration is applied to appointments which are unable to be performed due to insufficient time remaining to perform the service or have significantly delayed following appointments as a result of the client showing up too late for the appointment.

  • Online Prices

    All prices at BeataTe Hair Salon are subject to change without notice. All prices on vagaro and beatate.ca are minimums. Prices may change due to individual customer needs and hair qualities (length, type, thickness, etc). Other variables may also be considered in the final price for the individual customer.


    Your hair service provider holds the right and responsibility to adjust the minimum price(s) based on the previously mentioned variables to determine the final price for the individual customer.


    We are not responsible for prices shown on third party websites. In case of price discrepancies between beatate.ca and our Vagaro booking system, Vagaro shall be taken as correct. Price conditions are also stated when booking online. Discounts, sales and other offers are not reflected in the prices shown on vagaro or beatate.ca, unless otherwise stated.


    Any questions regarding price variables and/or a quote may asked via phone or message through email/facebook. A consultation may be offered by your hair service provider to become familiar with your hair.



  • Packages

    Packages can only be purchased in-store and must be purchased before checkout of service. Once purchased, you may book

    services normally but instead of paying for the service at checkout, it will automatically be deducted from your purchased package.

    You may opt to not apply the package at checkout and pay for the service individually and your package balance will not be affected

    but the expiry date will not be postponed. A salon visit may consist of more than one service. Any service which is not included in the package msut be paid for after service completion and before leaving the salon. The Package ONLY applies to the relevant service for which it was purchased for. Having a valid package does not entitle you to leave tha salon without payment ( for example when other non-package services have been completed). Purchasing a package does not exempt you from the common courtesy of leaving tips. Package services may be booked with any service provider, that service provider will still receive your tips etc.

  • Give a Gift, Receive a Gift

    • Gift certificate minimum amount is $10.00 CAD.
    • Gift certificates are non refundable, non transferable.
    • 10% off your visit only applies when you have purchased a gift certificate of at least minimum amount.
    • Purchasable in store or online.
    • 10% off your service can be applied immediately upon purchase of gift certificate or at a later date.
    • To redeem your 10% off coupon, proof of purchase is needed. Valid proof of purchase is either receipt from the salon or email confirmation after online purchase. Present at checkout.
    • 10% off coupon only applicable on services.
